Hints

Sent in by Fabien In the last part of the game, you'll go to Choco's planet. There you'll find "Inventor Friend Book" level 30, 40 & 50. Even though if you played the game using the Ultimate Robot Code that you can find in the Game Genie Code section of this web page, you probably won't be level 40 when you reach Choco's Planet (And I don't even talk about being level 50!). To be able to read these books do this: fly back to Roccoco and go to the secret passage that leads to the Mayor's house in the upper left corner of the town. In there you'll find monsters that look like crabs with a yellow hat (in combat mode you'll see them as crabs with a Blue house on their back). Fight them! Each brings you 30 megs of data when defeated! They're not aggressive at all, but they have a great power of escaping... That's why they give you so many megs'. If you don't kill them in your first or second attack they'll probably escape the fight... As a good way to defeat them quickly you should hit them with Axe 3 (Level 9 should be good ..). And if they're too far to be hit in close combat in the first attack, get closer and hit them with Bombs (3 or 4).. They'll "freeze" and stay where they are waiting for your second and definitive attack. Exit the room and re-enter it, they'll reappear each time like other enemies... It can take you some time to reach level 40 and 50, but it's valuable as you'll learn how to make Boots 6 and Bomb 4. A last hint: to raise the level of a weapon, you can use two different ways. First you can combine the weapon you want to improve with the same in the "1" type (example : Combine Axe 3 Lv1 with Axe 1 Lv1 will give you Axe 3 Lv2). That works for every weapon except Bomb and Blade (and perhaps Blow, as I couldn't try it). For the weapons that can't be combined to improve, you'll have to check the capsules you find in combat mode (when you fight an enemy sometimes there are some capsules between you and the enemies). Check them quick! They'll explode when the time counter comes to 0. If you're lucky you'll get an "Equip Level Up" item, that raise the level of all weapons your robot is equipped with... Be careful to check the capsules, you'll have to attack them... And some weapons destroy them before you could know what was inside. To help you I can say you that an Axe will not destroy a capsule...

Secret Library

Sent in by Stryker Before you take the Spaceship to the planet Choco, search the area about five spaces right and seven to nine spaces up from Quintenix. This will allow you access to a Secret Library on planet Kirara. There you will find the complete Inventor's Friend collection, including the volumes on how to make Laser 3, Blade 4 and the Solar Pack.

Finding Kirara

Before leaving for Choco, search the area approximately five spaces right and seven to nine spaces up from Quintenix. Starting from Quintenix, fly to the right just past the first yellow star. Then, fly upwards until reaching an area with a small blue star to the left and a large yellow star to the right. The planet Kirara is located between those stars. The library on Kirara contains the complete Inventor's Friend collection.
