Build the Township quickly

Sent in by Norfleet If you want Township to be built right away after you paid your carpenter, this is what you do. Go outside of the Town and use your Time Warp spell about 4 or 5 times. When you enter the town again it will be complete.

Quick bait

Sent in by RRert For some quick bait, dig with Mogu in front of the dragon stone above Auria.

StarrSD

Sent in by Thanatos To obtain the StarrSD, a sword that only hero can use, you must fight a random battle in Thvstmd on one of the bizarre random event faces, continue to do this until it says you have received the starsword, besides the dragonSD it is the strongest weapon in the game, it normally deals from 120 to 160 damage a normal hit, and a special can go up to 390.

Healing yourself

Sent in by Lord Qaos In the first castle, the one in Camelon, there are two fountains of healing. To use them, walk up to them and push the button for "ok". They not only heal you, but also cure your status. This is a great place and time to build up your character since you can heal yourself for free and don't need any antidotes to remove poison.

Water Jar in Romero

Sent in by Adam To get the Water Jar in Romero, you first need to go inside during the day and talk to a person about zombies who roam the town at night. Wait until night, and go back in. You'll here different music. Go back out again and come back in. Blue zombies will be roaming the town, and the only real person from the town is and old women out in the graveyard. She tells you this is the hour of the zombies. When she finishes talking, she'll argue with you but her zombie husband cuts her off and pushes a tombstone back. Fall into the tombstone. Open both chests for the Water Jar and a Herb.

Uparapa tip

Sent in by NES WIZ If you defeat the Uparapa it will give you the option to let it go. If you do so, the Uparapa will give you a treasure chest with the Buster Sword in it leave than reenter and you will get another item you can do this a couple of times before it will stop.

Bleu tip

Sent in by Robert Near and up to the end of the game, if you have Bleu in your lineup, don't waste extra magic on Novax or Comet while fighting the bosses (like Jade), they will only take a maximum of 400 points from any spell, and Boltx will do that much.. It costs less than half the magic that Comet does. Click here

Agni tip

Sent in by Robert Even after you've gotten Agni, you may want to save until later on in a big fight. Agni does 999 per strike (the maximum for one strike), but you may be able to do more with a good line-up... (like you, Ox, Nina, and Bleu), go ahead, and use Ruda in the meantime, you may as well use up those Mrbl1's, Mrbl2's and Prtn's you have lying around during this part, then when they're pretty much used up (Most of the magic is gone, and they're getting low on Hp) then change to Agni to finish them off. Again make sure you still have at least a few Cures handy.

Mrbl3

Sent in by Robert Don't forget about the Mrbl3's just because they stop selling them after the first couple of towns. They can be very handy near the end of the game to keep you from draining your recourses fighting through endless ranks of bad-guys in those long, long dungeon crawls before you get to the boss.

Earth Robe

Sent by Joseph Once you get Doof, search all the towns, in one of the towns under a big chess you will find the Rarth Robe which makes you invulnerable to magic and has really good defense.

Locked doors

Sent by Excerion@aol.com Note locked doors. As soon as you have Karn, visit Winlan, the cave east of Auria, Romero, and return to Agua, search the statues on top.

Hidden holes

Sent by Excerion@aol.com Put Karn in front when you wander around Krypt. It's full of hidden holes, and almost all the chests are booby-trapped.

Hidden stuff

Sent by Excerion@aol.com As soon as you have Ox go back to Agua, where you can break some walls and get nice things, and Krypt, where you can break the rock holding the B Rang. But you can't fix the B Rang until you visit the fortress west of Gant. If you find Doof, go back to Bleak and push the boxes in the fortune teller's house. You'll get some armor for Bleu and a new spell.

Stone Robot

Sent by Excerion@aol.com Once you have Mogu, find the dragon dirt, the patches of ground with a dragon symbol on them. One is near Camlon, one is near where you found the Stone Robot, and I can't remember where the rest are.

W Ant tip

Sent by Excerion@aol.com Put W Ant's in the bank. You'll need one near the end of the game.

W Ant, C Nut, Root, and P Fish

Sent by Excerion@aol.com To find the W Ant, C Nut, Root, and P Fish, look in the following places: You probably found several W Ants over the course of the game, make sure to put one in the bank. If you don't have one, hunt a white stag. You can find C Nuts on the trees by Tunlan and the GrimFowl knight's tent. Ox can punch them off. And don't worry about bees. you can find a Root by digging at the foot of one of the plants near Gramor. To find a P Fish, fish off the bridge south of Carmen.

Useing the Rod 5

Sent by Excerion@aol.com To use the Rod 5, find a well and fish in it. Some you can only find by flying. One of the pieces of equipment is cleverly hidden. You need to fish in Spring after mucking around in Spyre.

Buy strong weapons and armor

Sent by Excerion@aol.com Have Gobi go to the front of the party and activate the empty shop counter in either Tunlan or Prima. You can try to haggle with the people, and even make a profit! There are some things you can only get here, like some of the stronges weapons and armor.

Early experience

Sent by Dray In the very beginning stay close to the town and fight you will run into 3 Fleas a lot and they give the most experience. And buy a lot of herbs though since the fleas are faster than you for the first 3 levels.

Start of game tip

Sent by Dray Do not buy any weapons or armor in the beginning. You get better ones than you can buy in the castle and you can live without them easily if you are level 3 or above. Make sure you take in a lot of antidotes. The P.bugs only poison you. They do not attack only poison so kill them off and then use the antidote after the battle.

Enter the Crypt

Sent in by Josh 18 To enter the Crypt, use the Fife. Use a key in the Crypt to get to the catacombs to avoid more fights. then go down the stairs to find Karn the Thief so that you can find your transformient powers.

Lots of money

Sent in by Christopher To get lots of money, have atleast rod 4. Go fish until you can't carry any more stuff. Then go sell the fish.

Dragon Armor

Sent in by Hunter To get the Dragon Armor, go to the Spring City. Go to the pond where the ducks are and go fishing there and you will get the Dragon Armor.

I. Claw

Sent in by Michael Szenay To find the I. Claw, have Nina back in the party. When you do, go to the man who told you about the B. Rang. Talk to him and then go north to a house on an island. Talk to the woman in the house. She will let you take an Item. Then go back to the tent with the person in it. He'll give you a List. Go back to the woman and talk to her. Give her the List, then go back to the man. Talk to him and you will finally get the I. Claw.

Rod 5

Sent in by Michael Szenay To find the Rod 5, have the access in the Castle of Tunlan. Go to the safe and walk in front of the left chest. Then you will fall into a secret room. Move the chest below the bed, then press A to find the Rod 5.

Mallet

Sent in by Steve Go to Gibis shops in Tunland and the fish city (there in the flea market) press A and some one will come to do business with you do it enough and some one will come in to sell to a "MALLET" don't bargain on the price or he will leave its ox's strongest weapon.

Agni Power

Sent in by Geoffrey Durso The Agni Power is at the Cleansing Water cave. Just go directly underwater where you get the Cleansing Water w/ all Dragon Armor (found in various wells) and Gills.

Power Dart and the Life Armor

When you first get Karn, go to Agua and open the locked door. Keep following the path until you reach two statues on your left and right. Go to those statues and press A. You get the Power Dart and the Life Armor.

Searching

Search every big dresser you see. They usually have items to raise stats. Also search pushable objects like vases, stools, cabinets, etc.--they often hide important objects as well.

Talking to people

Sometimes the order that you talk to people and do things is very important. An example is when you need to get the WtrJr in Romero. You need to talk to a guy in the town who mentions a couple that used to sell something ... Then you need to visit the couple in the graveyard at night. The old woman will give it to you only after you've talked to people in the correct order.

WtrJr

The WtrJr can be refilled in the spring and in Tunlan (by the girl that mentions songs can be bottled). It is useful for healing all four of the fighting party and reviving them if they are dead.

Earth Key

The Earth Key can be used as an item during battle. It does 30 points of damage to all enemies. This is very useful for Nina since she has a wimpy attack.

Shop prices

Different shops charge different prices for the same items. This also means that shops will pay different prices when selling items. If you are going to sell valuable items, find a high priced shop, and vice versa while buying.

Being a fish

When searching underwater turn Gobi into a fish (you must have the sphere, saved Prima, and have Gobi as the lead character). That way you won't be attack by monsters while moving around.

Tri-Rang

The Tri-Rang can be found behind Pagoda after Nina learns how to fly and BEFORE Pagoda has been activated. Search directly behind the twin towers of Pagoda to find the Tri-Rang.

9999 experience

Gain oodles of exp. (9999 exp. a shot) from M.Slimes on the island Pagoda is on. After a while the M.Slimes will run out and will only show up after a period of rest. The Hero's Agni spell and Bleu's FireX spell work well against the M.Slime. Unfortunately they don't appear with great frequency.

Life Armor and Icy Dagger

After you get Karn, go back to Agua open the doors that were locked before. When you get to the top you should be able to reach a scenic place with where the path forms a cross on the water. On the left and right side of the cross are two statues of dragons. Search them to gain two very good items. These are the Life Armor and the Icy Dagger. The Icy Dagger makes a good weapon for Karn but can be used during battle to produce a spell effect. Also check back in Winlan to find the Flame Rapier and in the Auria, Bleak cave for a G.Bar and other stuff.

Treasure

After getting Ox, go back to Agua to break down a wall for more treasure. Also check the Auria---Bleak cave. Free the B.Rang from Krypt as well, using Ox--it will be broken though when you first find it.

Chun Li

Go to the town of Bleak. Once there, go see the man in the big house to the upper left of the town. He'll ask you to put money on the table. Do everything he says, and when he asks you to look behind you, say no two times, then yes on the third time. You will see Chun-Li practicing her thousand-kicks move.

Emperor Sword and the Star Hammer

Check by the throne after defeating Jade to discover the Emperor Sword. Check the right-hand pillar in the same room for the Star Hammer. Use this in combat to produce *Comet* spell effect!
