Zool Ninja of the NTH Dimension

Get the game at Amazon.com!

Reviewed by BassX The game Zool, is quite cool. The story line is okay and everything flows thoroughly together. It's like final fight but much, much harder. It will keep beginner's playing for about five hours.

Graphics: 6.5 out of 10

The graphics are good compared to many other games like Mystic Quest or Final Fantasy two but the could do more work on the enemies. That's all i have to say for the graphics. They are really a pushover with them.

Music and Sound: 6.5 out of 10

The music somewhat fills the game. They could have better boss music and sometimes you can be in a level for hours and the music has a strict repeat pattern. Some of it is good while others are just crummy.

Game Challenge: 8.5 out of 10

The game has a good challenge. One thing, there are four levels in each world and about 7 worlds. One other thing is you can't save so you have to keep playing it on and on but that's part of the challenge. The bosses and moderately hard but the levels can be a pain. You need quite a bit of practice. Unlike games like Final Fight where you can't save either, this is much harder than any of those.

Game Play-Fun: 7 out of 10

The game is quite fun. As in the first level you can beat up bees and travel on candy logs, it is really amusing. The animie design makes it more fun because in some worlds your beating up bananas and in others your beeing clobbered by toy tanks!

Frustration

It is extremely frustrating at points in the game as when you climb up a monstrous tower and fall down again, you have to climb all the way up again. It's a pain when you die and have no credits when you in far worlds because you have to start all over again. Nice.

Replayability: 3 out of 10

Unless you had major difficulty with the game and want to see how better you do the second time around, you don't really want to waste another 3 hours playing it.

Game Value: 5 out of 10

The price I payed wasn't really good because I payed 32 dollars (Canadian) and i beat it in no time but when you beat it, it's seems like a waste because there are no secret modes to get or anything!

Overall: 7.5 out of 10
