Reviewed by Thomas This game is about a ship called the Lady Catherina who capsize due to stormy weather. you play one of FOUR, not six, But four personas onboard the ship. It is slowly sinking, and you have to find your way to a hole in the hull, which is sticking out of the water. That is hard, moderately easy, but you can, and (if you have ethics) should help people escape the ship too. The ship looks remarkably like titanic, but is very much different!

Graphics 7 out of 10

The graphics are typical for super Nintendo, but they added some interesting things to this side scroller To give it depth, you can go through doors on the "Background". Other than that not really much to say except that the "Physics" of the game are pretty realistic. Also cut scenes make it interesting because you can see what is going on outside the ship.

Music and Sound 8 out of 10

The BGM is pretty good, and sound effects are excellent. Other than that, not much to say.

Game Challenge

It varies. Depending on your actions, it can be near to impossible to easy as pie. The controls aren't as good as it could be. The thing is that to really win you need to rescue people as well as escape. after you play for a while, it get's easior after you get to know how the ship is layed out. you can find a map that's not of much help, but it gives you the basic idea of how the ship works. To add to the realism, it takes time to read, and while you study it, the ship is still sinking! Also, before you use the map, take into account how the ship is oriented, upside down, or sideways, ect.

Game Play-Fun 8 out of 10

Once you get it down, it is a really good game. What gives it such enormous replay value (how much you can play it till you get board) is that you have lots of freedom to do whatever. You can save passengers, yourself, BOTH, or explore the upper decks( when turned over it is at the bottom) and find these weird large tunnels. Go to the one on the farthest right, and take the top left exit. Go up the pipe, than at the junction go to the right pipe. From there on it's up to you to figure out how to escape. But after my mini walkthrough it's not too hard. If you don't know the way out, and cant find it, then the game is not fun at all. But with the advice , it should be really fun!!

Frustration

If you get lost (all to easy, especially if you don't know your way in the first place) than it is very frustrating. Also the fire is so annoying because a little touch kills you for " five" minutes. Other than that, you need to get the controls down, or you cant not get frustrated!

Replayability 10 out of 10

This game has infinite replay value. I never get tired of it. The main reasons are as follows: 1. The games are timed, and to play a game doesn't take a long time unless you want it too, so theres never a dull moment. 2. You are free to do anything! Rescue people, explore whatever you want. 3. The pure rush of being on a sinking ship!

Game Value 10 out of 10

The game is worth about 15, maybe $20. It is worth every penny of that money.

Overall 8 out of 10

This game is an excellent adventure game, and doesn't take long to play. I really enjoy it. Renting it doesn't really give you a good idea of the game because you have to get the layout down. Then it is really fun. Try Funcoland, or a used game store to find it.
