Reviewed by Kevin Disney's Super NES game Aladdin puts you in control of one of their biggest stars. You control Al through Agrabah's streets to the Genie's lamp to the big fight with Jafar. As Aladdin, you can jump, throw apples, duck, run, and jump. But do you have what it takes to collect enough red jewels to see the secret ending?

Graphics 6 out of 10

While the graphics are not the greatest you have ever seen on the Super, they are good enough that you can tell who the characters are. The effects with the Cave of Wonders caving in are pretty good. And the final battle with Jafar is pretty well animated.

Music and Sound 5 out of 10

The sound is okay, but you will probably turn it off after a while. The sounds while bonking a guard on the head get monotonous. The music includes a couple songs from the movie, but even so, you will find it gets annoying after a while.

Game Challenge 4 out of 10

Even on the hard setting, this game shouldn't give you much trouble. The most challenging thing is getting all of the Red Jewels. Although some of the jumps and the carpet scenes may give you a little trouble. Overall, this game isn't challenging.

Game Play-Fun 6 out of 10

While not very challenging, the game is fun while it lasts. The passwords make it easy to get back in the game. It is nice to hit all the guards in the head with apples after getting annoyed by them constantly. Younger kids will particularly enjoy this game.

Frustration

Younger kids will probably get frustrated with this game in the later stages. Some of the jumps while in the lamp can get difficult. Most of the game, however, should not be that frustrating. If frustrated, you can always get a password and come back later.

Replayability 4 out of 10

After you beat the game, all that's left to do is collect enough jewels to see the secret ending. This is easily accomplished. After doing so there just isn't enough to keep you interested in playing the game again. Unless you forget what the ending is.

Game Value 3 out of 10

The game isn't really worth buying full price. If you see it at a garage sale, you may want to pick it up for a couple bucks. You will probably beat it within a week and get enough jewels for the ending the next week so don't be worried about missing much if you don't get to play it.

Overall 5 out of 10

Disney delivers a game which follows the plot of the movie. While not a challenge, you may want to play it just to say you've done so. The game is fairly fun, but doesn't deliver enough challenge for the avid gamer.
