Star Fox 64

Get the game at Amazon.com!

Reviewed by Ian One nice, September day I was at K-Mart with my mom. I'd rented Star Fox 64 (and its prequil) before, and I loved them both. When I saw Star Fox 64, I had to get it. I did. I didn't, and still haven't, regreted it. It is TOO great!

Graphics 9 out of 10

Just like in the original, this game had the "first person or third person" view. But the new "All-range" mode was a great addition. And the ship's sleek design wasn't very bad, either.

Music and Sound 10 out of 10

Want good music? You have it all in one cartridge! I don't understand why everybody hates it. The "Independence Day" music is great! And the Cornaria music wasn't bad, either. I may be alone on this, but the first time I heard Katt's theme, I laughed! I'll save voices for later.

Game Challenge 7 out of 10

OK, this is kinda sad. What is that new review talking about? Who cares about no saving! It's JUST TO EASY FOR IT! And what does he mean that it takes 1 1/2 hours to beat? I'm POSITIVE you can beat it in 45 minutes! But getting medals isn't to easy, anyway, so why complain?

Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10

The multi-player mode was a nice touch. And the regular game wasn't too bad, either! Both were very fun and I still don't see why people complain by challenge. It's too fun to even notice that it only takes 45 minutes to beat!

Rumble Pak 10 out of 10

In Nintendo Power, people complain that the Rumble Pak's nothing special. HA! This accessories noshing BUT special! It matches the feel of the game exactly! (Did you notice the rumbles of the Attack Carrier?)

Frustration

Frustrating? Yes and no. The game itself is easy, but getting the medals it tough. But either way, like we know, WHO CARES ABOUT THE TOUGHNESS? You're so wrapped up in the fun, you don't even notice!

Replayability 9 out of 10

The medals added to this. And so did the different paths. With all those 25 paths, you could take all day to get them all! And then the medals: how many people have gotten the medal on Sector Z?* *Good question! How many people HAVE?

Game Value 10 out of 10

This great game is worth $70.00. Altogether, it's super! It adds up to make one great game! Therefore, I'd pay $80.00 if I had to!

Voices 8 out of 10

The voices were very good. In fact, 1/3 of the game was for voices! None of this "Zabba zabba bla bla" stuff! There is REAL voices! Only problem? I don't see why people aren't complaining about this. SLIPPY'S VOICE IS DUMB!

Overall 11 out of 10

This is the best N64 game ever! It's even included with the Rumble Pack, so why are people complaining?
