Diddy Kong Racing

When the hit Donkey Kong Country came out, people ADORED the monkey
Diddy. Nintendo was aware of that, so they made Donkey Kong Country 2,
with Diddy as the star. It became even more popular than the original.
Now, in Diddy's first game for the N64, Nintendo shows a little monkey
can go a long way.
Graphics 9 out of 10
The graphics in this are astounding, probably because Rare used a new
animation method. Though the walls are still standard flat and blurry
(Will they ever fix that?) everything else is wonderful. On the player
select screen, the characters move to the rhythm of the bouncy music,
and the bosses (Especially Wizpig, the final boss). When Wizpig teased
me, I could actually see him wiggling in mock horror and breathing!

Music and Sound 10 out of 10
What can I say? This is the best part of the game, when you pick the
players, you hear them speak(Though I wish their mouths moved when
they did), The music is cute but sweet, and...uh, hey, can I let ya in on a
little secret? If you look in the credits, you can see that Cathrine
Sutherland formerly on POWER RANGERS, plays one of the voices! Now,
there's so much music You'll have to access the music test! Sorry, I'm
keepin it a secret. Earn it yourself.
Game Challenge 10 out of 10
This is one of the toughest games I've ever played. The silver coins can
sometimes be VERY tough, and the bosses...Ooh, I don't even want to talk
about it! I've had this game for over a month and STILL haven't beaten it!
Still, the challenge and fun kept me hooked.
Game Play-Fun 9 out of 10
This is fun, because you can explore when you're not racing, do the time
trials, I mean you can probably play this forever! (I still am eagerly
looking for hidden characters.)
Frustration
This game gave me some serious frustration. Sometimes I'd turn off the
N64 and storm out of the room. When you crash, you're in big trouble. The
computer NEVER crashes into walls! But once again, the challenge and fun
kept me hooked, so I'd always come back for more.
Replayability 10 out of 10
You just keep coming back to this game! Once you're hooked, you'll probably
be hooked forever! AWESOME!
Game Value 9 out of 10
Luckily, I got it for Christmas, but if I wanted to shell out $60, I'd do it.
This game pays for all that and more.
Overall 9.4 out of 10
N64 lovers, GET THIS NO MATTER WHAT! IT ROCKS!
