Space Invaders

Hey, remember the 70's? Well I wasn't born, and it's gone now, so who cares? So,
you've played the little arcade games at the mall probably and you always run out
of quarters. I hear ya. This game is what you need: endless arcade action that's
portable and only 20-30 bucks!
Graphics 7 out of 10
First off, it's a game boy, black and white. What do you expect? The best way
to play it is 2 player on the Super Game Boy. You get all the nifty color graphics
that are really cool and stuff! The shape of things are kind of squary, but that's
the way they're supposed to be.
Music and Sound 8 out of 10
Okay, I bet you're thinking "8... ok, where did that come from?". Well, believe
it or not, I like that little song that plays when the space invaders come down.
And the little *pchew* of the cannon! I love it! Well, of course it does get a
little annoying after a while, that's why it got an 8.
Game Challenge 10 out of 10
This game is hard, the highest I've ever gotten to is to level 40, and that's
when I was in the zone. My friend can only get up to 5. Yesterday I played it
again and I got up to level 12, but then I lost all 3 lives at once. If you're the
type of person that doesn't like things to be very hard, I wouldn't recommend
on buying this.
Game Play-Fun 3 out of 10
If it's such a great game, why did it get a 3? There are two reasons, it's very
repetitive and very hard. It's the same enemies, same background, same
everything on every single level. If you like to find a variety of stuff in a
game, don't even try to play, you'll die from the boredom of it! This game is
so hard though, it gets to the point where it isn't fun anymore. That's why
there's 2 player mode.
Frustration
How can I put this.... To much of a challenge if you ask me! There is no
reward for beating the level either. There is no end. It keeps going and going
and going and going.....
Replayability 5 out of 10
This is a game that you will play when you first get it, put it away for
a year, take it out again, get really frustrated and sell. It's fun to play
and get a new high score, but the high scores erase! That's really dumb,
and the high score is pre-set, so you have to get a certain number of points
in order to have it say the high score is 204398 or whatever.

Space Invaders is good and all, but it just isn't worth the money. Go by
Harvest Moon. It was cheaper than Space Invaders anyway. You shoot at
stuff. I think that you should have been able to buy it for more like $10
instead of the $28 that I spent. Oh well, it's said and done now, so what the hay!

Don't go out and buy it unless you really like Space Invaders, like me. I
don't want you to spend you're good money on it if you don't want to buy
it. This game has got arcade action and little *pchew* *pchew* noises,
not to mention that continuos song in the background. Overall, I like it!
