King of Fighters '95

Sniff...if only people knew what you could do with a Game Boy. Well, the good
people at Takatra sure do! They have single-handedly made the best fighter
of Game Boy (except King of Fighters '96), and a fighter that can beat even games
on the 16 and 32/64 bit level! What game is this, you say? Well, it's King of the
Fighters '95! Hooya!
Graphics 10 out of 10
The graphics are great-possibly the best for the Game Boy. While the graphics
are "younger" than their arcade counterparts, they are not Super-Deformed
(like Fatal Fury 2). Plus, these guys have great animation, and it runs at a very
fast clip!
Music and Sound 7 out of 10
This is where it stumbles, a bit. Their is only one tune (I'm going insane!) and
the sound is basic Game boy noises-thuds, thwacks, etc. So crank up that Weird
Al tape! (I prefer Greatest Hits, Vol. 2)
Game Challenge 10 out of 10
Hooya! This is a great challenge. Even on easy, it took me a few days to beat this
game (especially the last boss). The com. charaters will pull their special and
super moves out of nowhere! Still, I'm not complaining. I LOVE a challenge.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
While there aren't as many characters as in the arcade version (15, with three
hidden), the characters left over have ALL their special, super, and desperation
moves intact! And even taughts made it in! Wahya! A final insult when ya whack 'em
upside the head with a super move! Plus, it runs at a very fast speed.
Frustration
Possibly the challenge, but it's not too bad.
Replayability 10 out of 10
Come on! 3 difficulty levels! 15 characters! 3 hidden characters! Single and Team
fighting! Multiplayer! This is one game that does NOT get tiring!
Game Value 10 out of 10
Defiantly! It's worth TWICE, no THREE TIMES what I paid for it! It's one of the best
Game Boy games ever!
Characters 9 out of 10
The characters are very balanced in relation to one another (except Henderin-he
stinks Krayt eggs), and all have great personality, and some of the super moves
they pull off-like Ryo-they'll knock your socks off! (For your info-my favorite
character's Mai )
Overall 10 out of 10
If you love fighters, hell, if you have a Game boy, get this game! And if you don't
have a Game boy, buy one to get this game!!!
