Trouble #E Challenge

Sent in by James Leroux Have you had problems getting to the finish line as Damon Hill before being black flagged? The solution is simple: As long as you are quick, you will be able to pit and get your gearbox fixed. It will fail again, and you may have to pass Driver Williams again, but you should be able to reach the finish line in first.

Get black flaged before the race starts

Sent in by Code Hunter You need to be in the Grand Prix Season mode to do this. When you start a race, you should enter a pit/paddock car setup screen. When in the screen, setup you car as you please except for one thing, the fuel, leave that as low as possible. As soon as you exit the pit/paddock car setup screen, your whole TV should turn black. At that very moment, hit and hold the 'A' button. You should hear a high-pitched humming sound coming from your cars engine. Quickly do the Grid Trick and stop the starting grid display from moving. After you stop hearing this high-pitched engine sound while still holding on A, hit start. As soon as you see your car you should also see a black flag in the bottom left corner, also, your pit guy will say, "you're out of fuel".

Grid trick

Sent in by Code Hunter The Grid Trick enables you to take control of the grid display at the start of most races. To do it, all you have to do is press up or down. How far you push the control stick determines how fast the grid moves, or stops. To re-set the grid display, hit the 'B' button. Click here

Flag Code

Sent in by Code Hunter Yellow - there has been an accident of some sort. Not allowed to pass people, if you do, you'll get a warning. Black/White - Warning Flag, get around eight of these and you will be disqualified. Green - The previous flag has been canceled. Red - Restart race.

Tire Burn

Sent in by Code Hunter Go to any inside vie on you car, hold the break and the hit the acceleration button. You'll notice that the tire is almost about to catch on fire, pretty cool.

Access to all of the challenges

Sent in by Code Hunter Highlight Driver Williams and change his name to Driver Pandora. Then select challenge as your mode and enter file 4 (it should say cheaters special). You now have access to all of the challenges including the ultimate one.

View the cars

Sent in by Code Hunter Select exhibition mode and choose "Williams" as a driver. Use the Analog-stick to change his name to "Museum", then return to the "Start" screen. Then, select the new gallery option to view the cars. Various controller buttons will rotate and zoom the view.

View the programmers

Sent in by Code Hunter Select exhibition mode and choose "Williams" as a driver. Use the Analog-stick to change his name to "Credits", then return to the "Start" screen. Then an option to view the programmers will be available.

Infinite fuel

Sent in by Code Hunter Select "Grand Prix" mode and enter the paddock screen. Set your car's fuel level as low as possible, then start a race. Infinite fuel will now be available on the next race.

Turning on sharp turns

Sent in by Code Hunter To turn on sharp turns, hold the analog stick down and to the direction you are turning. Be careful not to hold the analog stick down too long because then the car will lose a lot of speed and spin out.

Start the fastest

Sent in by Code Hunter To start the fastest, you must press the gas button when all the red lights turn off. If you do this right then you won't burn out at the beginning.

Credits option and more
