Lots of points

Sent in by JJ When you go to different cliffs (especially the half pipe) you score from 1,500-100,000 depending on however many tricks you do I once got 100,000 in Dragon Cave once. The huge cliff is really helpful if you are trying to beat records.
Sent in by Harmon First you need to go into Trick Attack. Then select Ricky Winterborn and the snowboard that shows up on your screen. Then choose the Dragons Cave level. Go through the level until you reach the second bridge. Once close to it hold the jump button to give you a higher jump. Release the jump button so you hit the right side of the snow wall and the beginning of the bridges wall. Then press left on the analog stick. You should make it over the left side of the bridge. Do as many tricks as you can until you fall through the bottom of the snow. You will have about 10 seconds to do some more tricks until you land, so get ready. You will land next to the green fence almost at the end of this course. This is a hard trick to execute and may take you a few times but it really racks up the points.

Be in first and second place

Sent in by Harmon In the first track in match race when the guy is in front of you go to the side of a mountain. It will say you are in first but a guy is in front of you.

Ghost trick

Sent in by Harmon To do this trick, save the ghost data on any track, but to make it easy use Air Make or Half Pipe. Then play the course that the ghost data is on. As soon you start press right-C to make the ghost disappear. But there will still be the trail in the snow from the ghost's snowboard.

Z button tip

Sent in by Carter Don't hold Z the whole time, cause once you do the jump start, (keep taping forward at the beginning of the race) you go about the same speed. If you don't hold Z you turn a lot easier. Remember, you may need to press Z a few times during the race, but probably not. Click here

Easy way to get the penguin board

Sent in by Ed Robe Getting the penguin board can be hard unless you know this secret. Go through the trick list in training mode until you get to one that you cannot do. Then pick an easy trick on the list. Do the easy trick and before you land switch to the trick list. Then choose the trick you cannot do and and switch back to your guy hanging in mid-air. Then just land the trick as normal and it will count it as you doing the more difficult trick.

Combo bonus of 8000 and score over 9000 points

Sent in by Funk Masta For this trick you need the panda boarder. To get him beat all the attacks and beat all the computer's scores. Then go to Rob Haywood hold Right-C then press a now rob should say "What's up?" Now you press Right-C then A. once you have the panda boarder go to trick attack and go to air make with any board. if you do a 360, Tweak, 180, 360, and a front/back flip then land it you will get a combo bonus of 8000 and score over 9000 points!

Panda Man

Sent in by Chris To be the Panda Man in 1080, first get rid of all the EAD records in Trick Attack & Time Attack modes, second beat the game on the Expert Mode. Now when you select Rob Haywood push Right C button then the A button to select him. You should see a Panda picture in the bottom left-corner of the next screen if done correctly.

Ice Man

Sent in by Chris To become Ice Man, who you race on Deadly Falls, do the same as the first two Panda steps then when you select Akari Haymai push Left C then the A button. If done right there should be a picture of an Ice Man in the bottom-left corner of the next screen.

Golden Ice Man

Sent in by Chris To become the Golden Ice Man, you must beat the Match Race mode on the Expert setting while being the normal Ice Man. After this go to Kensuke Kimachi and press the Up C button and then the A button to select him. If done correctly there should be a picture of a Gold Ice Man in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Points add up faster

Sent in by Jacob Michael Olson First, choose any rider, board, and then choose the level "Half Pipe". Now as you do your trick, hold it in the air, and your points will go add up a lot quicker.

Extra points

Sent in by Sean M When doing Air Make (the ramp). If you do a bunch of tricks like a lien air, 180 air, tweak, stalefish, indy, stiffy, shifty and so on you will get an extra 5,000 points if you land it perfectly. Also if you hold a trick longer you get more points.

Do a good land with no damage

Sent in by Brian Roberge When you are racing in the Dragon Cave, in stead of going on the path jump off right after the first finger that is pointing. Where it is pointy. When you are going to land tilt your board a little bite forward so that you will have a good land with no damage.

Play with the views

Sent in by Code Hunter To do this glitch all you have to do is turn on your N64 with 1080 in it without a controller plugged in. While the demos are going on and the "No Controller" is blinking at the bottom of the page, plug in a controller. Nothing on the controller will work except the view buttons (ex: C-Down, C-Up, D-Pad up, D-Pad Down) You can play with the views, but you can't start the game.

Do major stunts with out them being recorded

Sent in by Code Hunter 1. At the main menu, go to training. 2. When the person says "GO!" you instantly go forward. When this happens, press the Z button, this makes you go faster. Now, go through the half pipe. 3. Stay to the right of the pipe and then gather a lot of speed. 4. Now quickly go left and you should be facing the wall at a good speed. 5. At a good distance of going off the wall, press the A button and hold until your board is based on the red line on the wall, when the tip of the board is almost off the wall, let go of the A button. The snowboarder should go so high that the camera changes angles. Now you can do major stunts even though they will not be recorded. 6. If done properly, you'll get some mad air. The best player to use for this jump is Dion Blaster .

Be in first with with some one in front of you

Sent in by Code Hunter In the first track in match race when the guy is in front of you, go to the side of a mountain. It will say you are in first but a guy is in front of you.

Mountain Village Course ramp trick

Sent in by Code Hunter First select any character and board and select the Mountain Village Course. After that go through the course and where the course is ending there are two ramps that go nowhere (in to a wall) pull back on the control stick and hold "A" and jump off the ramp holding back. You should fall in between the house and the wall. You will then see some really strange stuff, it's different every time. It will spit you out on the track by the finish line. It is hard to do, be patient.

Thrust forward after crashing

Sent in by Code Hunter After crashing, you normally just get up and slowly start up again. Well, just like the Fast Start, you can press forward and give yourself a small thrust forward. After crashing a lot, this helps greatly.

Record scratches

Sent in by Code Hunter During the Replay for the Halfpipe, move the control stick in any direction and you will hear record scratches, like some DJ's do during some songs.

Professional Style

Sent in by Code Hunter First, ride through any course in 1080 and save your ghost when you finish. (Select Time Attack so you don't have to worry about not finishing on time) Then, select 'quit' and you should return to the introduction screen with Kensuke Kimachi snowboarding away. After you watch him pass the finish line, a movie of your saved ghost will play and you can now watch yourself.....Professional Style!

Lots of points

Sent in by Code Hunter First you need to go into Trick Attack.

Invisible ramp

Sent in by Code Hunter At the start of the halfpipe, immediately turn to the left or right. Proceed until you are near the wall, then make a turn towards the pipe. If you are in the correct position, you will move up a small invisible ramp and it will boost you high into the air. The best part of this glitch is that you land every trick, no matter how bad your landing position is (exception: not letting go on a grab).

Complete a hard trick

Sent in by Code Hunter 1. Enter training mode 2. In the trick list select a trick you can do 3. Then go off a jump and do the selected trick 4. Before you hit the ground go to the trick list and select a trick that you can't do 5. Land then check your trick list it should say that you've completed the trick

Control the camera

Sent in by Code Hunter When the game starts up and you see the guy snowboarding, press the up C button and you will be in control of the camera. The joystick moves the camera around and the D-Pad zooms in and out.

Secret Tracks and Boarders

Sent in by Code Hunter Dragon Cave Course: Win all five courses in the match race on the hard difficulty setting. Deadly Fall Course: Win all six courses in the match race on the expert difficulty setting. Ice Boarder: To play as Ice Man, win Match Race mode on the Expert level and top all the EAD scores in Trick Attack and Time Attack modes. Press the Left C Button and then the A Button while choosing Akari Hayami. Gold Ice Boarder: Go on Kensuke Kimachi then press top C then A button. (Note: You must beat the match race on expert while you use the ordinary Metal Boarder) Panda Boarder: In order to race as the Panda boarder you must first complete all of the attack modes with a first place ranking. Once this has been accomplished head into the character select screen and highlight Rob and press the Right-C button followed by the A button. Penguin Board: To be able to ride on a penguin instead of a snowboard, all you have to do is perform all 24 tricks in the training mode. You can use the code landing trick to help you do this. Then select any rider. Next select the Tahoe 151 board, hold c-down and press A. If done correctly you will be able to ride on a penguin.

Dragon Cave trick

Sent in by Code Hunter Go to the Dragon Cave. Once you are going down get some mad speed and jump off between the two neon signs. You need to get some crazy air and you need to hold a mute grab (Do it by holding up left and pressing the B button) Now hold the B button until you crash at the bottom if you do it correctly the screen will Flicker and the next thing you know you are on top of the cliff again

Snowboard past the finish line

Sent in by Code Hunter To be able to snowboard past the finish line you must be in a match race. You can do this with anybody and any board on any course. Make your way down to the finish line. It doesn't matter if you are in first or second. Before you pass the finish line, press start and go to retire. You will be able to continue snowboarding. This looks the best on Deadly Falls because you will go off the cliff!

Shadow in the shape of a snowboard

Sent in by Code Hunter First you have to have the Penguin Board which you can acquire by doing all the stunts in training mode. Second, Choose any mode, pick any character, then pick the Penguin Board. While you are racing, push A to jump. When in the air look at your shadow. Strangely your shadow is in the shape of a snowboard.

Faster start

Sent in by Code Hunter Normally when starting a race in 1080, you will start out slow. During the countdown right before you start (3-2-1), wait until the 1 disappears and press Up on the Control Stick. This will cause you to lunge forward and give you a much faster start. It may take a bit of practice though to get your timing perfect.

This trick earns you 300 points.

Shortcuts and Track Hints

Sent in by Warren Woodhurst On Dragon Cave past the second bridge you will see a church or a lodge just sitting on the side of the track. The door is open, head inside it and you will see a pipe drive along the pipe and press Z. You cannot fall off the pipe, so get as much speed as you can at the end of the pipe jump and when you land you will be right in front of the finish.
Sent in by Harmon When you get to the tunnel in Mountain Village, turn right at the first fork in the trail. When you come to a second fork, turn left. After a while you will see a light at the end of the tunnel. Do a tuck (Z button) and fly out as far as possible to avoid crashing. Do not jump. After you get past the two logs, go straight until there is a drop off. Jump off and you will land on some mud that goes down to a mogul and a house. This will get you to the village faster than taking an alternate route through the tunnel.
Sent in by Code Hunter CRYSTAL LAKE - Right after the big jump, you will see a house with a ramp beside it straight ahead. Go off the course and hit the ramp, and you will find a shorter route than the normal one. CRYSTAL PEAK - Right after coming out of the tunnel, you will turn right. You will then see two different paths. Hit the right one. Be sure that after coming out of the tunnel you make the right turn pretty sharp, or you may not be able to turn in time to hit the right path. The right path is much shorter and you will bypass some tough obstacles. MOUNTAIN VILLAGE - Inside the cave may seem like a maze, but stick to the right side and you will find your way through much easier. When you get to the tunnel, turn right at the first fork in the trail. DRAGON CAVE - When the track starts you will be in a cave, after the last orange pole make a left and jump up on to the powder area. Follow the powder down to an opening in the gate, jump off and back on to the track. Once your on track jump off just to the right of the sign straight ahead of you. DRAGON CAVE 2 - Near the end of the course, after the big drop off, there is a house with a moose head in it. Instead of turning away from the house, go straight through it. If you keep going through it, you'll come to a rail. To ride straight over it, just go straight. To actually boardslide it (go perpendicular to it), press Z and jump. When in the air, turn the analog stick to the left (regular footed) or the right (goofy footed). Just keep on it and turn it the opposite way you got on. DRAGON CAVE 3 - Make sure you're on the ledges after the first bridges, don't fall off, and go left when the path splits, than left again after the rock. When the path ends, it looks like you'll hit the wall, but jump and you might get in the cave. It's very hard to do but well worth it. DRAGON CAVE 4 - Right after the first bridge take a left try not to fall off. Then when there is another two ways to go take the one on the left again, turn hard right to not fall off. Then straight in front of you, you will see a tunnel you have to jump to get in. DRAGON CAVE 5 - When you first start out, you will take a curve to the left. After that, there should be a big curve to the right (There should be arrows pointing where to go). Instead of turning, go straight off the cliff (Press A to go faster off the jump. If you do this correctly, you should catch major air. You want to press Z while landing. You have then missed two major curves. DRAGON CAVE 6 - Just to the left of the first hand pointing you to turn right. Between the hand-sign and the fence is a small area which can be used as a jump to save you between 5 and 6 seconds on your total time. CRYSTAL LAKE - You will go off a big jump. At the bottom slowly head to the right. When you see a fork in the trail take the right side for a much quicker and easier route. DEADLY FALLS - Once you start the race you have to start going right. Once you meet the cliff try to stay on the narrow strip of snow to your far right. Keep on doing this, stay as far right as you can until you reach the forest. MOUNTAIN VILLAGE - About mid-way through the course, in the ice cave, stay right and take the road down the mountain. Go through the first opening in the road and head all the way to the right and go towards the first house you see (near the big mogul). Go through the small space between the house and the mountain. Stay to the right of the course and you will come up to some houses buried deep in the powder once in the village. You can board over the houses if you want, but it's best to just stick to the right and go through the powder. Doing this will save you some time because you wont have to worry about parked cars an curvey roads. Just be careful when you come back on the road because there will be a yellow ramp in your path that could slow you down. Alternate Route to Shortcut in CRYSTAL LAKE - There is a house with a ramp next to it, if you hit the ramp it will take you to a much shorter route, but sometimes this isn't easy to do. So, if you turn a tiny bit left right before you hit the ramp you should find an easier and faster way to access this shortcut. GOLDEN FOREST - As you get to the frozen river, go right through the middle of the fork, and up the big bank through the powdered snow. You will see a log jetting up from the snow (which is cool to jump, but decreases time). If you go to the left of the log, you should end up back on the path. If you tuck (pressing Z) and dodge all the trees. At the two forks be sure to go left both times, for a shorter path.
