After destroying the terrorist nuclear power plant, a celebrating
tune is played and a picture in the top third of the screen shows
a giant mushroom cloud erupting. This picture is then replaced
with our heroes' motorcycles driving away [how did they escape
the blast radius in motorcycles?] Below this appears the following
text: "Congratulations! Your mission has been completed! You're one
tough soldier." The screen remains locked in this state: the same
music drones on, and the picture of a now-empty road perpetually
scrolls [our heroic motorcyclists have driven off, no doubt to
celebrate and get treated for radiation poisoning].
