After you beat the last guy (which is always different) it tells you
how many continues used and then it shows the credits.

Otto Banes
His ending has him fighting the invincible Spanish fleet. After beating the
fleet Otto lets the Commander Esquizel go back to Spain. When Otto returns
to England, he is rewarded by becoming the head to the royal navy, despite
the objection of Gilbert. Each ending also has the number of days the game
took for that particular character to fulfill the victory requirement. Each
character I have gotten an ending with, features important parts of their
own story line, such as Joao's first run in with Catalina.
