Castlevania: The Adventure

After defeating Dracula the screen fades to white and then you 
watch Draculas odd looking castle crumble into dust as in every 
other Konami game. If you watch all the way through the credits 
you'll see Dracula in bat form fly out of the dust then the screen 
flashes: Game Over- pretty nifty, and very original.
