Beat the game and some one else takes the credit

Sent in by Kyle Mauhl A lot of people have been embarrassed by little kids half their age. For me, it's quite the opposite. When I was 7, my dad's girlfriend's son, 14 years of age and I were playing TMNT 2: The Arcade Game. We made it to the last level with no continues left and neither I nor he had ever beaten it before. Then we made it to Shredder, the final boss, while I was kicking the due-dah out of Shredder, my partner just stayed away and did nothing! He said it was because he was low on health, even though I was down to my last life and he had 2 left. Anyway, I beat on Shredder by myself for a couple of minutes, and I knew the end was near for him! Then, it happened. He used his cheap move where he kills you in 1 hit by turning you into a little turtle on me, killing me and putting me out of the game for good. Then, that punk teenager decided to actually do something since I couldn't do the work anymore. He got 1 hit on Shredder, knocking off his helmet and disabling his one hit kill move. It was a piece of cake for him the rest of the way and he beat the game! Even though I did all the work and I was dead, I was a good sport and gave him a high-five and yelled "We did it!" He just stood there and looked at me and said,"We? What do you mean 'we'? You got killed and I did all the work. I beat it by myself!" I couldn't believe he could say that after I had carried him through the whole game and he beats it when I'm dead. This was not like him. He was usually a good partner in games like Contra and Double Dragon 2, but his ego got the best of him. To make matters worse, he bragged during the ending credits, he called his girlfriend and bragged to her, he bragged to me, all his friends, and to his and my family for a week. I knew deep down inside that it was me that beat it, he knew it, too, but he would never admit to it. To this day I haven't forgiven him, even though that was 8 years ago.
