Buy a game, get a different game in it.
I once found WWF No Mercy for the N64 at the PX (a military store). I
was nevertheless excited. It was in the bargain bin for %25 off, opened
and with the cellophane off. I bought it, and had a premonition, at
that moment, thinking of the consequences of a game package in that
quality, especially when I remembered this website and the bad
Nintendo experiences. I took out the cartridge, and my premonition
was right! It wasn't WWF No Mercy, it was Shadow Man! I was strucken
with grief, anger, and disappointment. I didn't return it though, as it
was a good game anyway. I still haven't got WWF No Mercy.

One Day I rented Turok Dinosaur Hunter and I loved it so I wanted to buy
it. So my mother took me too the mall. We looked around and found the
game but I wanted Extreme G but it was more expensive. So I whined,
and I guess the store guy heard me because inside the Turok box
was Extreme G!

One time at Funcoland, I bought Mega Man 1. The logo sticker was partly
ripped off and the screw in the back was missing but I bought anyway.
When I got home and put it in, it had this dumb game in it called "Karate
Champs"! I was SOOO MAD! Soon after I was able to return it and get
Mega Man 6, though. I'll try not to buy secondhand games from now on!

I was 11 or 12 at the time. Killer Instinct had come out that year but I
didn't have enough money for a new one. So i go looking for one that was
used. I searched and searched but it was nowhere to be found so i gave up.
After about a year i went in to Shoppers Drug Mart to get some gum when
I see this used game rack with super Nintendo games on it! I go searching
through it and sure enough there it is. I buy it and rush home to play it. I
pop it into my Super NES and to my surprise I hear a ding and the Super
Mario World music!!! I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming but I wasn't.
The cartridge was killer instinct but the chip was Super Mario World!!!! I
returned the game for a full refund but to this day I still have not bought
a copy of the game.

When I bought a Star Fox 64 game I opened it and there was NBA
Hangtime game in it. It was a totally new game not even open!!
