Pokemon

Sent in by TeamRocket2002 At the beginning of the game, instead of choosing between Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, you should get a random Pokemon from the following: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Drowzee, Pikachu, Geodude, and Sandshrew. That way, you wouldn't know which Pokemon you were going to get, and it would make the game harder. Also, they should have had more than one save slot. Finally, I think they should have made it so that you could join Team Rocket when the guy at Nugget Bridge asks you to, and the game would go differently if you joined than it normally would.
Sent in by Poke'manaic At the beginning of the game you should be able to race your rival to professor Oak's lab. If you win, you get to choose between Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. If you lose, you can only pick Pikachu.
Sent in by Hieu I wish the daycare center near Safferon City could take care of more than one Pokemon and there should be a lot more cities.
Sent in by Blaine You should be able to catch the three beginning Pokemon in the wild too.
Sent in by IceVulpix I wish that it were more like an RPG. You know. Like have people join you, have to save Pokemon fight off more bad guys and evil plots and MORE PUZZLES! You should choose at the beginning of the game (when you are naming your character) what your starting Pokemon would be and when you start the game Oak tells you that the Pokemon you chose has been attacked and you have to go into a forest and save him by fighting off Pokemon with your bare hands. Also, on nugget bridge you should be able to join Team Rocket and once you are very high in the group, you could report them to the police and receive a Pokemon (such as the one no chosen at the beginning of the game). And in the end you would save Gary.
Sent in by Jon They should make Ash a policeman who uses Pokemon to fight crime.
Sent in by Charizard At the very beginning you should be able to access your PC and be able to withdraw a knife and 3 potions.
Sent in by Jason R. Professor Oak should have a quiz and each time you get the quiz right he gives you a Pokemon. There would be a different quiz each time. The quiz will get harder and harder, too. The Pokemon would go from weak to strong (Ex. Kakuna, Meta pod, Weedle,..., Mewtwo, Mew.) and include the ones you can't catch on that version. You would only be able to play it if you have beat the elete 4. It would cost 500 dollars.
Sent in by skramey@webtv.net You should be able to learn other songs for your Poke flute instead of playing one song over and over? Some people you talk to teach you new songs, and each Pokemon will only respond to a certain song. For example, let's suppose you're on the bridge where the Snorelax is. (When you first get the Poke flute you only have one song) When you wake Snorelax, the song that's in the game is called "Song of the Snorelax" and if you catch him, and he goes to sleep somehow, he will only respond to the song normally in the game. Every Pokemon will respond to one song. so by the time you beat the game(and you've hopefully caught'em all) you will have 150 songs in your repertoire, one for each Pokemon.
Sent in by IceVulpix The battle sequences should be changed. The Pokemon should look like that Pokemon as it battles and actually show the moves and have them say their respective sounds (like Pika!) when they get hurt or attack. When your Pokemon does an attack that will kill or majorly damage the other Pokemon it shows a sweet full screen little movie of them doing the move and wasting the other guy, like Zapdos swoops down and uses thunder on a Dragonite and showing the Dragonite writhing in pain. There should be better music that fits the mood, like a almost dead Pokemon comes back knocks out the other guy right after a devastating move and that music from the first episode with the spearows cuts on. There should be first person bike riding!!! You'd zoom along the fields, actually seeing the Pokemon. Also, a new introduction would be good. A Mewtwo knocks out a random Pokemon, and Ash throws a Pokeball but it opens a little and the Mewtwo gets this look on his face like oh no and it cuts back to the pokeball and right before it finishes opening a white flash hits the screen and the words Pokemon roll across and the most powerful Pokemon on the saved game jumps on screen and freezes right before the attack. Oh yeah, more than one saved game at a time would be nice!
Sent in by Alex Gordon In the Safari Zone, there should be a 500 trip and a 10000 trip. The 500 is the way it is in the game, but the 10000 trip gives you 100 Safariballs, and unlimited time.
Sent in by Clint Harden In Pokemon red, Picachu should follow behind you, like in the show. After you beat Misty, she would join you, to. I would also make some of the trainers harder, so that they were more fun.
Sent in by Amanda Roope There should be an option to combine your Pokemon. That is if you took in two Pokemon you could combine them into one Pokemon. Articuno and Mewtwo would give you a Mewticuno. Pikachu and Jigglypuff would be a Pikapuff. There would be other combinations too.
Sent in by Bretton Lewis There should be 150 more different pokemon in the game so you have more to catch and trade. I beat the game with all the pokemon now all I can do now is battle my friends. I would also want to be able to have more save slots than just one. I still think they should have put codes for endless money or all pokemon.
Sent in by Katie You should be able to get to the elite four faster then Gary, Ash, blue, other (your rival), and then you could become a Pokemon master first and you could decide if you wanted to fight him or not. Misty and Brock should follow Ash throughout the game.
Sent in by Jeremy They should of put Scyther in the blue version and Electubuzz in the red, because Scyther AND Electubuzz are both in the red, I think one should be in the blue and one in the red. Since the Safari Balls stinks so much, another thing I would like to change would be to make the Safari Balls more effective, or at least make it so you could battle the Safari pokemon with your own, instead of throwing rocks and bait. There should be more moon stones, like maybe just 2 or 3 more. So maybe you could use a moon stone on Eevee and change him in to a super weird pokemon or something. Another thing I might change would be to make it so you can use a leaf stone on Eevee and make him a Floweraon or something even weirder. A different thing I might change would be after you beat the ELITE Four once you don't have to fight ALL of them every time you fight them ( so you could fight Lorelie and Bruno if you wanted but then not fight any more people ). One last thing I would do is make it so that when you beat the game you get $10,000 or something for being the pokemon champion.
Sent in by JC You should be able to stay as a trainer or join team rocket when the guy asks you at the end of nugget bridge. When you go to the elite 4 you should be able to go back out to the store and pokecenter and. You should be able to face gym leaders as many times as you want to.
Sent in by Matt Kracker It should be simpler to use the Item-finder. If it showed the exact positions of items it would be better.
Sent in by Mike On the computer, when depositing Pokemon, I would make a different command, something like EXCHANGE, which would do the job of DEPOSIT and WITHDRAW at the same time. That way, it would take less time to do the same thing. Also, when you get into a battle, the Pokemon at the top of your list goes first. I would make it so that you could chose which Pokemon went first.
Sent in by Raymond Almeda All of the 150 Pokemon should be in one color version of the game. It's too difficult to get all 150 by trading!
Sent in by Ryan I would like to change some of the pokemon and their evolutions. Rydon should be first but be called rhyhorn first, you should be able to buy moon stones, there should be more pokemon, and a better ending at the pokemon league. But most of all, I think there should be only 75 pokemon in each game, and all different. One last thing, there should be a lot more people in the game who want to trade!
