You can earn more money by planting foreign fruit, and then selling them to Nook for 500 Bells each.

Once you pick up an item, it is in your catalog. This includes when on Wi-Fi mode.

TONS Of Money

First change the date on your DS to January 1, 2000, now save your settings and turn your DS off. Next turn your DS on and start up your game. Then go to the bank(preferably with 10,000 Bells) and deposit your money. Save your game and turn off your DS. Finally change the date on your DS to December 31,2030, save your settings and turn your DS off.

When you start your game go to the bank and you will have at least 50,000 bells, if not more.
