In tournament mode, the king declares your character the greatest blade master. Then the screen appears to give you your rank and all that. In story mode, Kerrel stabs the evil demon and kills it, then it tells how Kerrel saved the kingdom and avenged his father. The sword spins through the air and lands in Kerrel's hand, then the credits are shown, then the rank display.
