After defeating Gordon and then Rocky and Rocco (the "heirs to Gordon's underworld throne"), tender music plays as Billy's kidnapped girlfriend Annabelle, clad only in daisy-duke shorts and a skimpy tanktop, bursts out of the back room, runs into his arms and gives him a hug. A close-up of them looking into each other's eyes appears, with the following Oscar-winning dialogue appearing in a cartoon bubble over their heads: "Annabell: Thank you, Billy! Billy: Are you all right? Annabelle: For a while I didn't know what was going to happen--but I knew you would come. Billy: Just thinking of you is what got me this far. I'm never going to let you go. I can never let you experience something like this again. Annabelle: I don't want to ever be apart from you again. Billy: I love you, Annabelle. Annabelle: Oh, Billy..." Then Billy slides up to Annabelle and gives her a loving kiss. A picture from farther away appears of the two reunited lovers kissing in a moonlit stone archway, as the "cast" scrolls to the left [ie. Annabelle was "played by" Annabelle Lane, the Frogman was "played by" Jacques Killstow]. The Konami staff credits then scroll and eventually the game resets.
