After you defeat the giant head on top of DK's tower, it cuts to a screen that has Mario and Pauline. Pauline gives Mario a Super Mushroom and he grows to normal size. DK lands on Mario. Mario picks up DK and grows even larger and holds DK high above his head. Then during the credits, there's a picture of DK, DK Jr., Mario and Pauline in the background.
