Instead of just saying "Congratulations to the blah blah" I would have the fans come down and tear down the goal post in happiness. Then they would announce the winning team and the coach would come up and except it. Then it would show what would happen to them next year.

Instead of a fish spitting out a trophy, I'd like it if Princess Toadstool's dad, the king, came out and gave you a trophy by handing it over. Then the winner would dance and cheer and receive a monster truck and he/she would drive home crushing anything in it's way.
