At the end it should show Dr. light finishing a cat named tango. Then when Mega Man comes home and tango comes and tries to hurt him. You get to fight Tango at the end of the game. The way to get this is to beat Dr. Wiley (disgised as Dr. X) with only being hit once.

After defeating Dr. Wily for the last time (the way the game is now) you should teleport to Dr. Light's lab. There, Dr. Light would congratulate you on a job well done. At that moment, Protoman would teleport in, and tell you that Dr. Wily escaped AGAIN, and has brought back all of his old creations, but this time he will help you fight. You get to go through a special level, fighting all the bosses (only with your weapons from Mega Man 6, though), choosing to switch between Mega Man and Protoman after each battle. Every time you defeated a boss, the ceiling of his chamber would explode, and life and weapon energy capsules would fall from the ceiling, allowing you to restore your life and weapon energy after each battle. Protoman's weapons would include his normal gun, and special shield modifications similar to Mega Man's weapons. Once you defeated all the bosses, Dr. Wily would show up, and tell you that he captured (whoever you didn't defeat the last boss as), and reprogrammed them to fight you. You will then have to fight them, they will use ALL their powers. Once you defeat them, they will be returned to normal. You will then be asked if you want to continue the game in 2-player mode. If you choose to, a second player will control whoever you fought, and both of you will go fight Wily. If not, then whoever you fought will say, "I must leave now... Good luck battling Wily. I believe that he cannot be held captive, so this time, you must show him no mercy. Use this weapon to destroy him." If you are Mega Man, you will be given a new, more powerful Mega Buster, and an armored suit which will reduce damage taken by half. If Protoman, you will be given a Cyber Sword, and the same armor. Then, you will go fight Wily, who will also be in an armored carrier. Defeat him, and his carrier will explode, taking him with it.
