If Back to the Future Part 2 had been sold separately from Back to the Future Part 3, the ending for part 2 should tell you that a 3 version of the game would come out in a few months... just like the movie did.

The game will stop and go to a short cartoon version of the ending with the DeLorean being destroyed and then the train going into the air.
