To make the game for fun, but also make it longer and a bigger game, is that when you neat Secret of Mana, you should get another quest, but this time everything would be different. Like you would get different spells, different weapons, different items, and you would have to fight different bosses. The locations of the items would also change. In the second quest you could also get different characters. I think that this would make the game more of a challenge after you have beaten it.

The Sprite and the Girl should have a new magic. It would have to do something with the sun or electricity.

I would change how much MP you get. I think you run out of MP too fast.
