Johnny is your old enemy from a long time ago. He didn't get to manage the farm, so he turned to a life of torturing you! He shows up every few weeks destroying your crops and stealing your animals! But, on the morning your parents are supposed to be home, you wake up to see a shotgun pointed at your head!!!!! Yep, Johnny. Just then, your parents and a bunch of policemen come and arrest Johnny for vandalism, grand theft, cow, and attempted murder!

In the farming life, it hardly seems fair to have a rival, so before a new game it would say: Rival: On or Off? Farmer Brown would compete for the girl you like and a better farm. He is really quite nasty and says mean things to you, like: Oh, I see you're slacking off to visit (Maria, Ann, Nina, Eve, Ellen) again! If you don't work hard enough, he sends the mayor after you... and you might have to pay a fine (not money, like a certain amount of crops, or a cow). Although you can send the mayor after him... If you don't get a girl to like you quick enough, Brown will marry her.
