Since there are no real bad guys, I'd just make an obstacle;the final cutter. I got the name from SSBM Kirby's ^+B move, but what it is is a cutter. It has platforms on the top of the cutter, and you can fall off it, and hit the side of it that is slanted to go at super speed. But if you get hit by the cutter, you will fall through the floor.
