Just Like Mario has an evil clone named Wario, Bowser has a good clone named Bomser. You find him when you do a triple jump into a hidden area in the castle's grand hall. He says that he can help you defeat Bowser. He has all the same moves as Bowser does but they are more effective.

Melissa Mario Sister is not Mario's real sister, but she's an honorary sister. She's actually Peach's long lost sister no one knows about. Mario would meet Melissa (when he gains 60 stars) near the trees outside. She's a human being, and she's a teen. She wears overalls, a hat, and a shirt, all of which are pink except for the overalls, which are blue. She has short, brown, curly hair, and brown eyes. She also has raccoon ears and a tail (????). She says hello, then explains who she is and about her origin (it's too long to explain here). She will ask Mario if he needs her help. If Mario says yes, Melissa will join Mario on his quest with a two player option! They will stay on the same screen unless they separate. They both must agree on what painting to do TOGETHER. If Mario says no, Melissa will ask him every time he passes by. If they team up, and there aren't two controllers present, Melissa will simply follow Mario on the screen for some comedy relief, or a suggestion or two. Melissa can't kick, by the way, she uses her tail instead!

Bubba could be a secret character that you can play as in some levels if you beat him in a race or fight. He's fat and short, but has good grip and can climb some hills Mario can't. He can't jump very high. His punch is strong enough to get a purple coin when he hits enemies. He doesn't have as much breath underwater but his weight lets him swim to the bottom quick. Cannons won't shoot him very far and his flying ability is limited. But the best part to getting Bubba is a lot of bosses will be afraid of him and wont be as quick or strong when facing him.

Luigi would be Mario's second hand man. When you play with him, you can jump twice as high, but run at 2/3rds of Mario's top speed. He would also be able to reach higher ledges than Mario, but would have less mobility when it came to special moves. You could switch between the two depending on the task at hand.

Komodo is a purple dragon with green spots. He helps Mario whenever he needs it. You just have to press L and B at the same time. He will appear by Mario's side in no time. He can be defeated, but it is pretty hard and it probably won't happen. If Mario gets defeated, Mario disappears and Komodo takes over. The computer controls him, no problem though, just press R and he's all yours. Mario can also ride him. It is pretty hard. You have to press A and B at the same time, press C down then C up. When he flies Mario can go any where. To let Mario get down, press Z. Komodo will slowly land. He is a longtime friend of Mario and they're the best team ever.

Vianni would be a blue man who was very short and skinny. He could be able to jump way higher than Mario or Luigi. He would be younger and more curious and powerful and adventurous.

Super Star Man could give you special hints or tell you about secret places hidden in the game. There would be one Super Star Man in every level to find. And they would be the hardest to find, but they would give you a lot of help. Especially if you're stumbling around. Super Star Man would also count as one of the Super Stars on each of the levels.

Lacky follows Mario around everywhere Mario goes. The best thing about Lacky is that he's kind of a weapon for Mario. When Mario's almost dead Lacky brings him a glass of water so he can rejuvenate. When Mario's facing Bowser Lacky will sometimes walk behind Bowser and poke him with a needle so he jumps a bit and chases Lacky around the area. When Lacky's being chased around Mario can come from behind and grab Bowsers tail and throw him.

Dragontura would be the final boss of the game after you get all of the stars. He would look a little bit like Koopa, but he would be bigger, much bigger. He would have a black shell, instead of a green one like Koopa, with long, yellow spikes that could shoot out at you when he turned his back toward you and bent over. He would have horns on his head and bright white eyes, that would turn different colors (yellow, orange, then red in that order) after the player attacks him. He would have long, razor-sharp teeth, which are only for ferocious looks. He could breathe fire and he could also freeze you with his arctic breath. He also would have a huge tail with deadly spikes. The only way to defeat him would be to hit him in his butt with the bombs that would be provided. You have to hit him 20 times, with every five times that you hit him, it gets tougher and tougher to hit him. He could whip you with his powerful, spiked tail. Because of his massive height, and huge feet, he could also smash you, taking a considerable amount of life away...probably half of your life meter. He could also fly up in the air hovering above you, and he could shoot lighting, one bolt at a time, at you.

You can unlock many other characters. They are Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, Skyler, Flare, and CloudNeo

Luigi: He is Mario`s Brother, and you unlock him after Beating Bowser the first time. He is slower than Mario, but can jump higher. After you unlock him the game can be 2 player co-op.

Wario: Mario`s enemy, but he can be your friend in this game. He is stronger than Mario and Luigi but really slow and cannot jump high. You unlock him after beatin bowser the 2nd time. Now the game is 3 player co-op

Yoshi: Yoshi is like Mario, only a little weaker. But he can jump higher and turn enemys into eggs. You unlock him when you catch that little bunny by the fire painting. Now the game is 4 player co-op

Skyler: He is a 12 year old boy with a Mario T-Shirt, Long black pants, and a Game Boy Advance SP. You unlock him after you get 60 stars. You meet him at the bottom of the castle after you drain the mote and can walk around. He is there playing his game boy. If you talk to him, he will say Bowser trapped him and he needs your help. If you say yes, he will join your party and unlock some things.
1. You will get a battle mode.
2. You can choose who you want to be when you pick story mode.
3. You can pick him as a charcter.
Skyler is a bit slow, cant jump as high, and a little weak but he has special attacks. Like if you get the fly cap, He wil hook it up to his game boy and his game boy will shoot out Paratroopas to help you. If you get the invisible one Not only will Skyler turn invisible but he will also shoot out boos to help you.If you get the steel, he will turn steel but a whomp will come to help you too

Flare: You get him the 2nd time you beat bowser. He has black long hair, tan skin, baggy pants, a fire whip, and claws. you meet him in the clock painting. He joins your party and then you get another charcter. He has the smae skills as Mario except he is stronger, and he uses his claws to punch and his whip in boss fights.

CloudNeo: This is the final charcter, and the best one. He has giant black wings, yellow down hair, robes covering all over him, and a giant sword. You unlock him after you get evry star and beat bowser. He comes up and says "I am the one who has been controlling the stars" and he transports you and your friends to a new stage. It is a giant plantform shaped like a sword. (If the computor is controling your teamates then they cant help you in this fight, so its better to have some friends.) He is a little taller than Luigi. He charges at you and strikes you with his sword. The way to kill him is when he flys up and then charges down at you, you have to jump to a different piece of the sword, then he will get stuck and fall into the lava along with a giant piec of the sword. But tthen he will fly up and he will start attcking like crazy. So then all you have to do is dodge all of his attcks for 2 minutes, but if he hits you even once, you die. Then when the 2 mins are up he blows up and you all fall down back at the castle. then CloudNeo joins with you. He is the strongest, fastest, and he can jump highest. Plus, he can fly and forever too. all you have to do is a triple jump,then he hovers in mid-air. You hold A to make him go up and B to make him go down. Press C UP and he will drop. But when he is in the air he is vunarable to attcks. But he has two lifes in one, like when He gets zero health he still has another meter.

Lario: He would be a combination between Mario and Luigi. He could Double Jump and use fireballs.

Harpo is a small angel that isn't playable until you defeat both big bullies in Lethal Lava World. After you beat them both Harpo will be unlocked. Harpo can fly (but just to make sure the game isn't too easy he can only fly a short distance), he can fire arrows, and, most importantly, he can cut through areas Mario couldn't even make a dent on. He also has sharp razor blades that can cut through any bad guy except Bowser.

gold is a golden dragon who helps out mario
