Mario's pet dog, Doggie, is a very playful dog. He loves to follow Mario around and play games. One of the best things he does is help Mario complete levels. He does this by going in front of Mario, guarding against enemies. If he runs into an enemy, he doesn't get hurt, and he throws dog bones at the enemies to destroy them. By the way, Luigi loves to play with Doggie.
